Patcher.sh Deprecated — Introducing the Dockerfile Patcher

The patcher.sh approach has officially been deprecated. We’ve changed the way we patch official images to provide a safer, cleaner, and more maintainable solution.

The new Dockerfile-based patcher applies all changes at build time, avoiding runtime mutations and reducing unexpected side effects. This makes the process more transparent, reproducible, and aligned with Docker best practices.

In addition, this approach works seamlessly with modern deployment platforms such as Coolify and Easypanel, without requiring special permissions or custom startup scripts.
